Hi, I use the DCC17 with the AC10 power adapter but for connecting to a DTap I use this specific cable from Kondor Blue 👉 ua-cam.com/video/-V_z7_KHiVQ/v-deo.htmlsi=kax-5TlZZes2av1S I don't know if you can get a D Tap cable that plugs into the official DCC17, Panasonic definitely don't sell an official one.

@@luisfco.castillocortes9455 There are other versions out there but I like the Kondor Blue version because it has a regulated output and you get a lifetime warranty with it. The only downside is that they a little hard to get hold of and can be a little pricey because of that. I had to order mine from the US, so I had to pay quite expensive delivery and import charges. But I use mine all the time, so for me it was worth it.

@Athar-Mahmood Ah I'm not totally sure there. My recommendation would just be to make sure the dummy battery regulates power correctly for your specific camera. Using cheap or incompatible dummy batteries can cause issues.

I don't have the G9ii or the GH7, so I couldn't comment there but I do love the image out of the GH6 for both photo and video. I find unless I am doing something very stylised then using the standard or natural profile with a few tweaks looks great. It gets a lot of bad press but I have done loads of personal and client work with it and have always been happy with the results. The introduction of PDAF does seem to have had a bit of an impact on the image which is a shame.

I'm not sure I am following this. Are you saying you are shooting using you phone? If so, are you using Lumix Sync or Lumix Lab?

@stevelitton idk how to explain it, it's simaler to having foggy glasses and u can't see threw them. sometimes when exposed to the the bright sky even on a cloudy day the top 90 percent of my screen is covered with all white u can't see anything, it happened again but indoors when I was shooting a music video anytime my gh7 looked at the light bulb the entire screen would go all black, it's like some kind of auto adjustment but it's terrible unless I spin the dials then it goes away,sidebar when taking pictures I can only use tap to focus because everything thing else isn't sharp enough comes out blurry without tap to focus

I'm not sure about that, there are a few things that can change the image brightness like constant preview, the monitor backlight and the way you have the metering set up. But it doesn't like any of those from what you are describing.

@@izanagi710 That's a pain. Maybe you could raise a ticket with Godox or ask Sean on a Lumix livestream. They do them most Thursdays on their UA-cam channel and he is super helpful! He has access to most of the cameras and a lot of Godox gear so it's worth a try.

I haven't used the Patona Protect batteries, so I can't comment there. But the K&F batteries I have seem to work fine in any video format for me.

I don't have the pods but it should all work fine as this is standard functionality for the router. I use a 3rd party access point and it works fine.

@@lnuponom2678 You can't go wrong for $1. I have found them super useful this winter. I did use some fingerless gloves liners inside as well for some colder days but you can't fault them for the price 🙂

I don't think support is really an issue, it's more whether people know you can do this and can be bothered to do this 🙂 Some people are just very brand loyal but as someone who has had branded cards go wrong I am a little more open to the idea.

Oh man, I see that now. At the time, I was stressing so much that I didn't even look at that. What threw me was that I glanced at the reference window in the 'window' dropdown and it wasn't checked. The reason is of course because it has a sub-menu. Well done, thats a great spot 👏

Having a TRS cable is the better solution but this would also work in a pinch.

Thats odd. I haven't come across that specific issue unfortunately so I can't be much help on that one. Hopefully someone else has experienced that issue and can assist.

I read the forum and I find out that if I heat resistor near the battery(not charge) connector it fixes the issue. Author said that it fixed 4/5 devices. Today it fixed my device as well)

Hey, it works slightly differently on the GH7 camera. There is an option called LUT library in the menu under image quality. Try loading them in there.

That's odd, I haven't upgraded to the latest version, maybe something has changed.

Oh dear. The last firmware release for the S9 was so buggy they had to roll it back. Their QC and beta testing process doesn't quite seem to be up to the standard it was in the past. To be fair they are putting entirely new features into the cameras though, so there is a lot of risk with the cameras already being in the hands of consumers. I'm sure a .1 patch will be along soon enough.

I don't quite follow, are you worried about upgrading and losing the Wired LAN streaming feature?

Yeah they crapped on us GH6 owners early. Pity as it’s really capable.

It's possible some updates may still be on the way. Its always the flagship cameras first and then things may trickle down to some other cameras. From what I have seen the firmware updates are a bit of a mess so it may not be a back thing right now.

Hi, it sounds like you need to cycle through the display options. If you press the 'DISP' button it will cycle through a few different options. You will have one which is the live view with all the info over the top, a simplified live view, a photo-based readout and then the option to switch the screen off. Sorry to hear that, thats rubbish. Mine seems to still be holding up ok. What brand of batteries are you using in it? I do tend to use the bigger NP-F970 batteries with it. Might be worth trying to action a refund if you can't get through to them.

@paulweston4990 No problem. That's really odd, I use some Neewer branded batteries and they seem to work fine. I do find that the last single light is a bit unpredictable as to when it's going to die but I haven't noticed it shutting down at 2.

Which camera are you are you referring to, the S5ii or the GH6? Those are both old firmware releases so they both should be on there. Just make sure you have updated the app to the latest version.

That's odd. I don't have the S5ii to test it but version 3.1 should be available in Lumix Lab. It may be that it needs an incremental manual update from the version you have to then get to the latest version.
